Description

The prison break freed more than Elowen Frost—it unleashed dangerous individuals whose crimes earned them the deepest cells of the Royal Prison. Gascore the Blood Hand walks the capital's streets speaking of eyes that watch and sacrifices to make, with Lady Ruben at the top of his list. Trophis the Burning Sun plans to return to Raven Rest and awaken 'the seed of the sun' with proper sacrifices. Azriel the shadow-touched revolutionary rejoins the Gloaming Guild with ten years of imprisonment fueling his purpose. Prince Vis assigns the Heroes a grim task: hunt down the most dangerous prisoners and prevent innocent deaths, or face consequences for their role in the escape. What began as a mission to free one wrongly imprisoned woman now demands they become executioners of the chaos they unleashed.

Timeline

The Eye Ever Watching

Vixia tracks and interrogates Gascore the Blood Hand, learning of his seven-year imprisonment, his service to Zeth the Messenger, and his burning hatred for Lady Ruben. Rather than capture him, she points this human hurricane at targets she wants destroyed, recognizing him as too dangerous to control but potentially useful if aimed correctly.

The Prince's Reckoning

Prince Vis confronts Daria about the prison break, ultimately assigning the Heroes to hunt down the most dangerous freed prisoners—particularly Gascore and Trophis. If they can prevent these released criminals from killing innocents, there need be no further punishment for the Heroes' role in the escape. The debt of freedom becomes a bounty hunt.

The Dragon Sigh Debrief

The Heroes confront the reality of releasing dangerous criminals. Vixia reveals she tracked the Blood Hand and learned his singular purpose is to kill Lady Ruben, driven by voices from Zeth the Messenger. The party debates whether to let the serial killer eliminate their nemesis or save her for leverage.

The Night Dancer's Price

Echoe provides intelligence about the Blood Hand's past murders and offers mercenary assistance in exchange for his corpse. Vixia proposes using Lady Ruben as bait, drawing her from the Castle with promises of revenge for her son's death.

Gold and Stratagems

The party finalizes plans to lure Lady Ruben into a trap using a fake ransom scenario involving her supposedly-alive son. They debate methods but agree the Blood Hand must be stopped before innocent deaths occur.
