The open question: what is the Prime Inquisitor, what is its purpose, and what does its presence mean for the party? Session 2 update: The Inquisitor (a named Prime Inquisitor) departs Aurelia's rookery and fixes an unsettling gaze on Thalara, whispering a riddle of 'five lies and one truth.' Aurelia binds the entire party to assist Inquisitor Ruben de Faris and report back everything she asks — placing them directly under Inquisitorial oversight. Aurelia reveals Inquisitors answer only to royal blood, and suspects Ruben de Faris of overstepping for personal gain. Daria realizes her celestial heritage may qualify as royal blood, meaning she could potentially control Inquisitors. A second creature of light, gold, and bone appears on the rooftop above Thalara — kin to the Inquisitor — and Thalara feels mutual celestial recognition with it.
