The Inquisition

Description

A feared imperial institution whose Inquisitors are said to be able to do things to a person's mind, with interrogation techniques described as distinctly unpleasant. Headed by the Prime Inquisitor, known as 'the Listener'—a towering seven-foot entity made of white bone and gold metal with a single enormous eye, radiating blinding light. The Inquisitor spoke cryptic prophecies of 'five lies and one truth' and reached toward Thalara South before being dismissed by Lady Aurelia. Their presence in the capital deeply unsettled the entire party.
