Description

The Queen is the sovereign of the queendom, a figure of supreme but distant authority whose bloodline alone grants dominion over the fearsome celestial inquisitor creatures. She looms over the story more as an absent force than a present one, her attention perpetually consumed by matters too vast and weighty for the troubles of any single lord or province. Power flows outward from her in all directions—through her council, her son the Prince, and her formidable mother the Queen Mother—yet the woman herself remains shrouded in remove, a throne felt but rarely seen.
